| Thursday, November 19, 2009, 8:40:25 PM- For God's sake stay off the roads! | Run! Run for your lives! Today my daughter turns 16! You know what that means? A driver's permit is just around the corner!
We made a deal, as long as her report card looks right, her behavior keeps up, and she continues to take her meds with out fail, she gets her permit next month when report cards come out. So far, so good.
I think she's going to surprise us all and really do well. I'm betting she has her driver's license before my son (who still doesn't have his!) and I bet she'll have herself a summer job this year to save for her own car. She's very independent that way. Wonder where she gets that from ? ;o)
Anyways tonight we feast on Chinese (her favorite) and plan our "date" on Saturday when we go see New Moon at the movies. Should be fun! I get to play photo-journalist for a friend Saturday too. (Long story) So my weekend looks pretty full :o)

| Saturday, November 14, 2009, 2:22:01 AM- Don't hold the camera responsible | for the NON-model's flaws (mine lol) or the fact that I am not used to the camera yet.
I literally just put the battery in it, the memory card, then set the self timer and went to town! lol
I only like a couple of the pics though :(
Not the fault of the camera, again it's the non-model ;o)
I think the quality is good (take a look if you want) but I definitely want to "fine tune" the settings some.
My only complaint is this camera is teeny tiny, and my fingers are big. lol
Someone is going to be a happy camper when they win the next one

| Friday, November 13, 2009, 2:21:06 AM- New neighbors | The rental house next door has been empty for the last 6 months, apparently not anymore!
We've been gone all day but when we got home tonight there are lights on next door. I've been spying on them waiting for someone to pass the window so I can get a look LOL
I'm just nosy, not all that excited about it lol We tend to have some real "winners" come to live in that house. Out of the 8 or so families that lived there I was "friends" with exactly 2
And one of them turned onto a complete whack job just before she moved out. I think the house is cursed or something. lol Either that or the landlord really is as much a douche bag as we think he is! Hmmmm
On another note please be patient with me and the new status thingy. I have no idea what I'm doing! lol Ya' know I used to think I was technology "savvy" USED to.....

| Wednesday, November 11, 2009, 7:57:52 PM- Just wanted to thank all our Veterans here | before I go out and thank my very own veteran here :o) I'm bringing my veteran (my dad) out to dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant tonight. Yum!!

We decided an even better idea would be to get a house with one of those mother-in-law apartment type things attached for my dad to live in. Then we both get our own privacy, but are around just in case.
It has a much better ending this way don't you think? ;o)

| Thursday, November 05, 2009, 3:51:26 PM- Jeesh it's been weeks now | and I still can't get away from doctors!! I have to bring my daughter in today, poor thing has a terrible ear infection.
Then tomorrow my son goes to the dentist for teeth cleaning. I better rob a bank first though. Yikes!
I keep telling my kids if they want to be rich, become a dentist!
In other news.... I think I've gone crazy! lol
Country says I'm just getting ready to hibernate. lol It started with the canning, then cooking. I have cooked and precooked so much food my freezers are completely stuffed! So now that I have no room left to cook anything I'm on a cleaning binge.
I am not just cleaning but I'm cleaning EVERYTHING! Every drawer, nook, and cranny of this house is getting cleaned even if it kills me! lol
I want to have it completely done by Christmas when my daughter comes home. I'm not just cleaning, but organizing, and getting rid of 20 years of excess crap....and loving it!
You never realize just how much crap you accumulate, and how much room it then takes up, til you get mad and start throwing/giving it away.
My house may be bigger then I thought! LOL

| Monday, November 02, 2009, 5:28:09 PM- Grr doctors are really pissing me off | I basically got accused of lying about my father this morning, by a doctor.
He has red palms, by the way, so do I. Always had them since I can remember, and never gave it a second thought until now. Apparently red palms are a sign of alcoholic Cirrhosis of your liver.
Which he does have the symptoms of....except my father is not an alcoholic, or anything even close. He probably has 3 drinks total a year (if that)
He was however poisoned while in Nam, and it severely damaged his liver. Which is where the damage has come from NOT alcohol!
The doctor made it seem like we are BOTH alcoholics and that I was just "covering" for him! WTF? What would my motivation be to lie? Guy was ridiculous. I felt like he wanted to give me a drug test to see if I was drinking now! lol
He really looked stupid after my father explained the liver damage and told him to contact the VA if he has any questions lol
He did make me paranoid about the red palms though, but it is something I have always had and never gave a second thought about. I did a google search and while he was right about them being a "possible sign" of liver malfunction. It also said for some people red palms are absolutely normal.
See? I'm normal! I even have proof! ;o)
Enjoy your week peeps! I gotta' get my buns in gear and put my house back in order! Ugh it's a mess with us not being here much! Dirty dishes and clothes EVERYWHERE!

| Saturday, October 31, 2009, 9:45:24 PM- Guess what I got today in the mail? | Our new camera!!! Wow that was fast NN! Thanks again :)
I can't wait to get a chance to play with it, and learn how to use it ;o)
Now I just gotta' come up with some original picture ideas! After being here for 5 1/2 years that's a lot easier said then done ;o)
I'm sure I can come up with something, but feel free to leave suggestions ;o)
And yes Country still owes me some pics. I haven't forgotten those ;o) As much as he wishes I would. lol
With everything that has happened this year, we didn't get a chance to do any Halloween pics :( I never had a chance to work on a costume or anything :(
I'm kinda' bummed; it just doesn't feel like Halloween :(
I could repost some of my old Halloween pics, if you aren't all bored to death looking at them again :O) We shall see
