my little boy ( he is 22 and taller thatn me ) rang his mother.

He was too sick Christmas day - even missed the family lunch - stayed home in bed.

He went to a rock festival for New Year - got blown away inthe storm hahaha.

I asked him a few times - Have you rung your mother? - nudge nudge.

Well it was her birthday the other day so he finaly rang. What did I hear him say? Well I didn;t get a call from you either!!!

Man all I am trying to do is teach him some manners and respect. I think I am a failure.

Jan 1 - the first day of then New Year - easter eggs and Hot Cross Buns in the supermarket.

Personally I think it is over rated. Here, with daylight saving, it is not even the right time but hey people seem to get off on it.

I hope no matter how your 2009 was - that 2010 is much better.

are such great times. Gives ppl an excuse to contact those we have not seen or heard of in ages.

On Christmas eve I heard from a mate I have not seen for 2 yrs. I lost his number and he has changes mobile numbers a few times.Any way he rang, which was great and we arranged to meet at his place for the next Wed - last night.

Great BBQ and he has set up a room as a home theater. Sparkies can do that. Screen rolls down - projector whirls into action. It was great. Great to catch up with ppl you have not seen for ages.

I finaly did it!! It has taken a while but I complteted a crossword puzzle. Well I filled in all the spots with letters making up words that I think answer all the clues.

There are three crosswords. - The Quick one - that I always try to complete - The Cryptic - of which I have no clue what so ever - and the combo quick and cryptic combined. Well I completed the combined one.

Now all I have to do is wait till tomorrow to see if I actually got it right.

Untill then - shit I am good!!! lol

Thats the Australian national anthem. I love it but I have just heard the best version ever and had to share it. It starts with the traditional version and then goes on to the way it should be done. Don't know wether to laugh or cry.

I think it is the best meal of the day and when I have it I seem to eat less for the rest of the day.

Today I called in to a cafe and had breakfast. This place has the best roast meats - lamb, beef, pork - that just falls off. I love it. But today I said give me a sit down breakie - what ever.

He is so generous - 3 pieces of toast, 3 eggs, 2 sausages, grills tomatoes and onion and so much bacon, plus a coffee and a 600ml diet coke to go. All for $12.00. That is value!!!

I doubt I will eat till dinner time. I am so full.

I have not had enough work - another thing to winge about another time. So to pass the time - when not on NN I try to do the cross word.

Now I like to think I am educated and that my vocabulary is at a reasonable level. But my spelling is terrible. So if you get one word wrong ( spelling wise ) it makes it very hard to complete the crossword.

Can't blame the keyboard for that unfortunately.

My mates second son has a birthday party. Laser skermish on the outscirts on town. In bushlad. I am going.

No I will not be joining in with all the other 13 yo boys - just acting as a chaufer - but I reckon it will be fun.
