After a lengthy period it's back to the weights today! Denied myself that high and good feeling for a long time due to work and injuries I've incurred over the years giving me strife!
Must remember 37 is still young and not the '2 steps away from a nursing home' frame of mind I've been in of late!

One thing that fucking hurts in life is consistent Ungratefulness from those closest to you!
Spend a fucking fortune on things they want and they either turn their noses up or don't have the decency to say thanks!
I can see why some families just drift apart or someone just snaps

I don't consider myself brilliant or a gifted mind but some of the people I encounter at my place of work at a building suppliers make me feel extremely gifted!

Whilst standing next to the tiles I get asked bluntly "where are your tiles boss?"

"Do you sell watch batteries?"

"Has anyone handed in a bag of weed? As I think I dropped mine in the shop somewhere!"

Friday marked my twentieth week 'cold turkey' without nicotine of any kind : ) also marked my first week in my new job which I'm so much happier not working with a bunch of depressing, double-standard practicing slave-driving bastards. Sure it's harder and pays less but quality of life can be better than an extra few quid.

Tomorrow will be my fourteenth week without a cigarette or nicotine! Saved a fucking tidy sum not paying out fifty quid a week on a little white stick that's pretty much had me by the bollocks for the past twenty-two years : )
