what a surprise rain rain and more rain for the next few days into next week. Pffftt I just booked two rooms at a spa. Me and my Mom are taking off for a couple of days next week! hahhaha Massages, body wraps, facials. and an indoor pool enclosed in glass. Let it rain I'll be swimming!

My Mom and I have yet to do anything like this, we always talked about doing it. I called her this morning asking what she was doing next week for two or three days she said nothing much. Ok I'll call ya right back. With that I called and made the reservations!!

3 nails in 3 days wtf lol My nails used to be hard.The other day when one broke i chalked it up to putting together the bench swing (it hurt like hell when it broke jamming it into a metal bar)Yesterday I had a crack of sorts on the side it snagged my shirt and ripped it off. I thought two fingertips felt funny with no nails, the exposed skin touching surfaces but now with a 3rd nail gone omg my hands feel weird like they are missing something and the tips feel raw almost. I don't care for nail tips n such but I think I'll be heading for a mani, I can't keep my fingers like this. Glue 3 tips on please! lol

My Gram always told me to dig in the sand while lying at the beach, by doing so it kept her nails hard she claimed.That and plenty of milk and vitamins. Well I haven't been to the beach as of yet and I said to Hubbs I need more vitamins my nails are breaking and brittle. He said Babe you don't drink your chocolate milk anymore! OMG not enough milk... I just like carrying on things my Gram did,it's one of our many girl traditions diggin in the sand lmao.

Take me to the beach to dig in the sand if this rain ever stops cuz i'm not drinking chocolate milky anymore!( yes I'll start to take a calcium supplement lol)

Too funny. I heard the phone ringing as I was leaving the house to take Casper to the vets, The door was already shut n locked, leave a message...

I get to the Dr's office and the receptionist said Oh No you are here, I was hoping you would've gotten the message. Uhmmm no sorry what's going on I ask. The Doctor just left She is very sick today and just left 15 minutes ago. Oh that sucks hope its not to serious.. You can wait about an hour or so and the other Doc can squeeze you in. No ty I'll reschedule, I don't think Casper will mind.

If only I had went back inside to answer the phone! lol

Happy Birthday to my Hubbs!!
He's at work today so Birthday Dinner won't be til almost 9.
I still have to take Little Man out to get Dad a gift.He wants to get his Father a game for the ps3, great idea Dad just got it for Father's Day so he doesn't have many games. Funny though all the games he is mentioning are games that Little Man would like to play! hahahha It ought to be fun at the store making a final decision on which game!

Hubbs told me I already bought his gift. Uhmmm no I didn't. Hubbs bought a Honda Ruckus two weeks ago. It's bad ass for a scooter. But ya He bought it. He can't come home telling me ohhh btw hon thank you, you bought this for me for my birthday. pffttt no I didn't I wasn't even with you when ya bought it! lol

Yesterday we purchased a 3 seat swing that can fold flat into a bed/hammock of sorts. Not sure where in the yard its going but I've wanted it for a while.I think it will look nice and put planters on each side of it.

Last night I tear the box open, arrange all the pieces unwrap them and just as I'm about to put the first screw in it starts to thunder! lol So ya I didn't get to assemble it last night. I'm heading out to do it. Although its a late start to the day I needed a relaxing morning.

Wish me luck , theres what seems like a million pieces! lol

Just came back from FedEx. We received an email today from our friend's girlfriend with an update as to how his advanced training is going. He graduated boot camp the first week of this month and has moved on to the next training. PFC Rugby(nickname)is starting to really miss things back home, he won't be home til Sept.And his belly has been rumbling for a Buffalo Chicken calzone from a place in our old neighborhood. Hubbs said babe work your magic, how do we get a couple of Calzones to him?

With in 30 minutes I had it all figured out and was on my way to pick up 4 large calzones! The family run business thought it was super cool Rugby was missing their calzones! lol They assisted in packaging it to help keep it warm and on the box as you flip it open, they wrote a few words of Thanks to our friend, PFC Rugby! I wish we could see his face as he opens it tomorrow. Yes tomorrow. As we speak the special box is on it's way to the airport. Sending calzones on an airplane omg We must be HIGH! lol Uhmm We did do a couple of bong hits lmfao! I think it's something that he will remember and treasure how much his friends miss him, Me, Hubbs & Smooth.

We got 4 large calzones hoping that maybe just maybe he will score a small piece of one! My Brother shared a story yet again today lol about how my Mom sent him cookies... Cookies that he wasn't able to touch or taste nvm eat. His drill Sergeants said PFC Lil Bro your Mother made you cookies...how delicious and proceeded to eat all of them in his face! lmfao that's cruel! but my Lil Bro still all these years later holds that memory close!

We are so proud of our friend PFC Rugby.This is something he has wanted to do since graduating high school way back when. Yeap he's our age. A minor high school football knee injury squashed that dream for him back then. But with changes over the years an opportunity presented it itself and Rugby said it was meant to be! and his knee hasn't been an issue. He's a certified arborist, graduated with Honors. Doctor of the Trees! Climbing trees like he's a monkey. Has had his own business for well over 10+ years but in the industry longer. OH dam ya much longer cuz my Little Man is 10 and he had his business established before that. And he's a powerhouse playing rugby! Just to say a few things about Rugby! lol

For sure Hubbs, Smooth & I miss him. We just wanted to send a little friendship love his way!I just didn't realize it would cost a small fortune in doing so. I'll be looking for a corner to work on hahahhahhahahah just joking! i'm kidding! lmao

If I knew how I would share pics in my blog lol we took pics of the calzs being wrapped boxed and paid for shipping!

We just got back from getting fireworks. We've scaled down quite a bit. We have no idea how the new neighborhood is going to respond hahaha We didn't go overboard. Years past Hubby and Smooth would spend big bucks and I swear they got treated like VIPs when they would go, getting special setups that were only supposed to be sold if you have a pyro license so yes this year Ken was quite surprised at the small amount we purchased. Uhmm there was barely room for us in the car! lmfao

Funny years ago we used to call my Dad to let him know we were crossing state lines to get fireworks and have bail money just in case lol.
