My Dad was admitted to the hospital, ccu. Do I, don't I? I don't know what to do. It seems pretty bad. I rush down there everytime, it's not that I don't want to go. I'm waiting for a call back from my wicked stepmother before I make my decision. I am numb. Hubby has already checked flights for me. Don't worry., she has told me not to come down before haha I didn't listen then and I won't now.

Last week was the longest school vacation week, then throw in the tournament this weekend. There was always something to do,needs to get done right away or drive drive drive. Today is my day. I am not doing anything but relaxing. Even though I already went to the market this morning. Lol. But nothing else. Maybe I'll put some music on and dance around the house naked knowing I have the house back to myself today Hahah

One proud Momma I am. My Son did really well at the martial arts tournament today,
1st place in forms, 3 judges 999, 999, 999.
2nd place in point fighting 3 rounds first to get 5 points from contact hits
3rd place in weapons forms nunchucks 999,997,995
Tied for 2nd place in continuous sparring for four two minute rounds
But had to give him a 3rd place trophy, they will change the plate on it.

After my Son had done point fighting as an orange belt the judges pulled his Sensei aside saying if he wants to do the continuous sparring match he needs to be ranked up at least one belt if not two. Which his Sensei had said he expected that to happen. He's had prior training in other martial arts and boxing but has only been back at this dojo a few months. The judges had a mini discussion and decided to place him against the brown belts! What?! It was intense watching. I don't care for the physical contact even with the safety equipment. The round starts, brown belt comes out aggressive, My Son did a Down block with a counter strike that sent his opponent to the floor. It made me cringe.

He's ready looking forward to the next tournament lol

On another note, I did manage to take a few hotel pics last night, maybe share them later..

Settled into the hotel. It's pretty nice for what it is. 2 bedroom suite, living room with fireplace & mini kitchen. Our bedroom has pocket french doors and a balcony.
Took a moment to flash a friend while having a quick chat, thought I'd share...

Almost ready to leave, from the looks of our overnight bags you would think it was for a few days, nope. One night. My Son has a tournament in the morning. It's Only about an hour's drive but but we would rather not rush around in the morning, wouldn't set the right tone for the day.
On another note, I had babysat last night for my friends. I don't particularly agree with their "scene" when they go out so I gave them a ridiculous price. I normally don't charge anyone. But they said they said to name my price....
It covered the cost of the 2 bedroom suite with mini kitchen tonight. Hahaha
So I will definalty be enjoying myself tonight. Maybe even a pic or two! Although the cut on my boob hasn't quite healed yet.
I'll update later. Hope the hotel is nice!

I guess it wasn't a good idea to stand on my tippy toes reaching into the liquor cabinet late last night, I knocked over a martini glass. I was able to stop it from shattering on the floor possibly hitting my face or worse my eyes. But it did break. It made such a pretty tinkle clicking sound. Five pieces. Careful picking it up Moo with your bare hands. Ok all cleaned up. But wait my boob is stinging. I look down, tiny red marks on my shirt. What the hell?! Lifting my shirt up, I feel something sharp, I frantically and carefully lift my bra, what do I see... a thin sliver of glass with the tip stuck in me. I start freaking out, it stabbed me. The pointed fucker! It's not that bad, I rinsed with Wound wash saline and then applied neosporin.
I would like to mention that I wasn't drinking!! It's where I hid the chocolate and Easter basket goodies. Lol
