A Police STOP at 2 AM

An elderly man is stopped by the police around 2 a.m. and is asked where he is going at this time of night.

The man replies, "I am on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late."

The officer then asks, "Really? Who is giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replies, "That would be my wife."

Please excuse the four letter words in the following story.

I would have deleted them, but it would lose its impact without them....

A young couple got married and went on their honeymoon. When they got
back, the bride immediately called up her mother.

"Well," said her mother, "so how was the honeymoon?"

"Oh, mama," she replied, "the honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic..."

Suddenly she burst out crying. "But, mama, as soon as we returned, Sam
started using the most horrible language -- things I'd never heard before!
I mean all these awful four-letter words! You've got to take me home..., "PLEASE MAMA!"

"Sarah, Sarah," her mother said, "calm down! You need to stay with your
husband and work this out. Now, tell me, what could be so awful? WHAT four-letter words?"

"Please don't make me tell you, mama," wept the daughter, "I'm so embarrassed, they're just too awful! COME GET ME, PLEASE!!"

"Darling, baby, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your mother
these horrible four-letter words!"

Sobbing, the bride said, "Oh, Mama..., he used words like: dust, wash,
iron, and cook..."

"I'll pick you up in twenty minutes," said the mother

Our fifth annual Dad and daughter Lolla 3 day weekend in downtown Chicago on Lake Michigan. Kinda hot and humid but not too bad. The ice cold Budweiser go down good (with lots of water too). Started out Friday with Young The Giant, the Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (see vid)- they rock.Then The Kills, The Mountain Goats, Bright Eyes and to close out the nite, we split between Muse and Coldplay. Sucks they played at the same time but what can ya do?

Lots and lots of lovely ladies out there.

Here is the 26 foot tall icon during today's thunderstorm. Artist Seward Johnson placed the "The Seven year Itch" statue in a downtown plaza. As you can imagine, MM still draws a crowd!
