| Thursday, April 18, 2013, 11:30:47 PM- woo whoooo!! | 6 sleeps!!! Im soo excited! I so need this vacation! The dog/house sitter was over last night for instructions and dinner. I was blessed my gf was able to move right in for the week, so I dont have to worry about home. The shopping is done, clothes are washed and ready to pack.. 1 more snow storm this weekend to endure! lol come on Cubaaaa!!
Did I tell ya we upgraded to diamond club and we get access to the private beach..with a butler!! *snickers :P
I forget who I told but I said with my luck I`ll get a short as he is wide cuban in a banana hammock! But I`ll definitely get my picture taken with him! lol

Well being a Canuck it just wouldnt be right if I wasnt a hockey fan. My heart lies with the original 6, Bobby Orr was my hero..back when hockey was hockey. My thoughts and prayers are there with y`all in Boston today after yesterday's attack at the marathon :/

Soo my sister was throwing a dinner party for us siblings last night to meet her new friend shed met in Florida. We has a great time and tons of laughs..the wine was flowing, the stories got funnier and before we knew it it was midnight. My roomie got me home safe en sound and all was good..until the spins begin..lets just say..I dont have to count the calories from that dinner..guess there was a bright side! lol but ewwwww

| Saturday, April 13, 2013, 12:49:07 PM- Almost there! | So far Im doing great on this diet..21 lbs!!!! I already feel so much better!Last week I was excited to fit back into my fav jeans..last night..they seemed a lil baggy even! lol I loveee it!!
So today Im off shopping, Im thinking Im bikini ready and of course a few outfits for my trip are in order! Bath and body works are launching a new fragrance today called Beautiful Day..I loved the scent when I bought the trial perfume..soo I think Ill treat myself the the whole set today! Yepp retail therapy day for me! Besides..if I dont take care of me..who else is gunna wanna ;)

| Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 10:36:13 PM- As much as we hate.. | As much as we hatee our monthly fire drills at work..today they sure came into practice. It was 1/2 hr before the end of my shift, I thought Id go sit with one of my old gals for a little while. We were having a good thunderstorm at the time, the lights had been flickering then we lost 1/2 power. As Im talking with her..I can smell hot wires so I go to see whats happening, some lights in the rooms were flickering.. so I call the main office for them to page maintenance ..the smell was getting stronger soo that was it. I wasnt about to take any chances..I tell my staff to get all the residents off that wing and beyond the fire doors..keep in mind..I am an end stage dementia unit and 3/4 of my floor no longer walk and are in wheelchairs..the fire department finally arrived and we got the word to evacuate the floor (but no elevator)we got the residents who walk down the stairs and the firemen told us to hold up..we were given the all clear after about an hour..Everyone was fine and no fire ever broke out..but what a relief knowing..if it had to be done..we could do it! I swear..never again will I roll my eyes at the fire drills..they are soo important!!

| Monday, April 08, 2013, 12:09:39 PM- Ive been struggling with something... | I am a jealous old fool.. I will admit that..guess Im old fashioned or SOMETHING...
But here`s what happened..
I wandered into the pit one evening and was quietly prvin pics..when in comes a man I have been involved with for over a yr now. He didnt see me there and immediately starts groping another womans boobs and ass..It all came crashing down as I had been talking to a friend earlier who asked me if he and I were still an item and explained to me why he asked. So I already wasnt a happy camper..then to see this display before my eyes, my heart was crushed. So..we have the big discussion..of course Im not feeling worthy..that I cant hold his attention..that Im not good enough..dont make him happy enough..his response was.."its just pit talk..its not real" he assures me what we have is real..but..what I dont understand..and I see this with alot of NN couples..I mean..I get playful flirting..I do it myself..but where do ya draw the line? I missed the rule that chat room talk is not real..
Im interested in hearing your take on all this..my take is..its disrespectful to your mate..but then again..I am almost 50 lol | |
