In the past 4 months my father has been going thru heart issues. He's ended up with a quadruple heart by-pass, and doing well now. I myself ended up in the hospital as well. They had to fix some of that plumbing they put in a couple of years ago. I'm doing better now.
Sorry to say I have have fallen behind on PM's. It will take sometime but I will get around to it.

This is kinda a continuation of my last blog.

Within a few months of my last surgery, I popped an internal stitch and developed a hernia. Now, I'm scheduled to have it fixed at the end of the month (5 days). Through ALL this the doctors kept on about my smoking, so I finally decided to quit! I'm at 11 days, hubby's at 7 and we haven't required police or ambulance services yet. LOL.

First I must admit I'm here for purely selfish reasons... Too lift my spirits after a year of hell.
It started last October (4 days after my B-Day) when I had a stroke. After the piles of tests were finished, the Dr's discovered a genetic defect, my aorta artery was 1/2 normal size.
Add years of smoking and birth control pills and I ended up with a blockage. Due too the severity of the blockage and my young age they had me in surgery for a by-pass 12 day later.
After I was released I stayed with my parents for a month as they are in a bungalow, (No stairs) and could provide 24 hour supervision (retired). My Mom, who had her own health issue MS etc, got to be Mommy again... Looked the best she had in years.
Then things went down hill and she had too go on oxygen... March 24 she died in my arms age 59.
Just when you think it's all done.. another funeral 2 days ago for an old friend of my Hubby.
