Hi,

As may know we (particularly NN-J) are busily working to make the site perform faster.

In the last 48 Hours some signifigant technical changes have been implemented - I am intrested to see if people are feeling things are a little zippier around here as a result..

The Noticeboard today touched on something that I am pretty passionate about.

I visit the USA and see that these big SUV's and Trucks (F250, RAM GMCs etc) are very very common.

Then I hear very often from Americans complaints about the price of fuel.

I just wanted to tell those Americans that don't already know that you have close to the cheapest gasoline in the western world.

In Europe - right now (when US gas is $2.70 per gallon approx) the going rate is around $6 a gallon. In Australia, it's about $4.50 a gallon.

Best thing to do is buy smaller cars but please don't complain your gas is too expensive!!

The USA is the only country I have ever seen (and I have seen a few) that has an addiction to these thirsty and incredibly wasteful "trucks".

Wow. Three Years Old!

It is a proud day for us here at the helm of NN, seeing that we now have over 450,000 pics - nearly 400,000 members and often over 2,500 pics a day being submitted to the site. NewbieNudes also is ranked within the top 2,500 sites on the entire internet - which is a massive achievement.

Those of you that have been with us from the beginning will appreciate how far the site has come to not only keep up with this amazing growth but also to evolve enough to be as addictive now as it was back in October 2002.

I'd like to thank all our members, and especially those that have contributed financially through premium membership, for the support you have shown over the last three years. Without you guys - there would be no NN.

To celebrate, we will shortly be launching a fun competition that will run for the remainder of the month, the details of which will be on the site shortly.

As far as new features are concerned, we are working hard on an updated "back end" to the site which is why there haven’t been too many new features of late. This new "back end" will enable us to streamline the technical management of the site and free up the development team to get back to pumping out new features at the rate that we have been proud of in the past.

So - once again - thanks to all our members for your overwhelming support over the past three years - and let’s hope the next three are as much fun as the last!

Recently NN-J has made some great inroads into narrowing down the performance bottle necks in the site.

As a result - he has already significantly increased the site's performance and I am excited to say there is more tweaking to come.
