The heat just seems to have gone away. I am not going to complain a bit. Feels more like September than the middle of August. It has been great for scooter riding. I hit the 1,000 mile mark on it today. Doing the math figuring gas at $3.75 a gallon I would have spent $144 for gas driving my car compared to the $56 I spent gas in the scooter. Not too bad.

My bright spot of the week has been the great sex & affection shared between 2 people! ;D

I recently turned 64 and had to choose a new primary care physician for my healthcare insurance

After two visits and exhaustive lab tests,he said I was doing "fairly well" for my age.

A little concerned about that comment, I couldn't resist asking him, "Do you think I will live to be 80?"

He asked: Do you smoke tobacco or drink alcoholic beverages?"

"Oh no," I replied. "I don't do drugs, either."

"Do you have many friends and entertain frequently?"

"I said, "No, I usually stay home and keep to myself".

"Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?"

I said, "No, my other doctor said that all red meat is unhealthy!"

"Do you spend a lot of time in the sun.

"No, I don't," I said.

"Do you gamble, or have a lot of sex?"

"No," I said. "I don't do any of those things."

He looked at me and said, "Then why do you give a shit?"

We all went to a party tonight.
The kids started drinking so I drove my son's Mustang home tonight. Of course I also had to spin the tires at least once. After riding a 150cc scooter so much lately it was a treat.
I do love the feel of the smooth ride and lots of horsepower.
I think I might have to go for a midnight ride.

I love that feeling with my partner as well!

On the evening news there was a story that a local woman found a Cheeto that was shaped like Jesus on the Cross.
I wonder how much it will sell for on Ebay????
