The weatherman says this cold spell is the coldest weather since 1999. I could swear it was this cold last winter.
I hope everyone that is caught in this stays warm.

Been a very relaxing weekend even though I had to work yesterday.

Next Tuesday we go to court to file papers to start the adoption process. The week after will be her 2nd birthday.
We are going to give her our surname but will be keeping the one she has now almost like a 2nd middle name.

Not what I had exactly planned for the 2nd half of my life but it is going to be an adventure!

I am so ready to get back to a regular schedule!

The decorations are down and packed away for another year. The left overs are gone and the fridge is cleaned out.
The Kitchen make over is done and I think I spent the last 2 days half buzzed from the smell from the paint and polyurethane.

I intend on spending today quietly! I have had big kids and little kids here for the last 4 days.
Have a wonderful weekend whats left of it.

I am still trying to get my house back in order. The last of the company left this morning.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas, I did.
Only thing that could have made it better is some good sex.
But that's life.

Now we are going to do a bit of painting and remodeling to the house. It is my gift from the kids. Which I think is a great one!
